1. During the workshops we will practically and theoretically explore your chosen audition speeches and their suitability for different situations.  
You will experiment creatively and confidently with your pieces and develop these with attention to detail, and with focus and commitment.

Who is the character that you are playing? (name/age/class/time period) What is the importance of the role in the text?

Where does your speech fit into the play?
What is happening in the play? What purpose does the monologue serve?
